Great to have you join us yosefgold. The boards down a little this year but it's still a great place to come if you're a NW4A girls BBall fan. We didn't have a pick-um contest this year and that may have hurt our numbers a little. Looking foward to sharing comments with you in the future. Go Lady Titans!!

Does McDowell have a radio station that broadcasts games?

Lets get some talk going about the games tonight. Should be 2 good ones and a laugher.

    Freedom should handle Alexander.

Watauga at East Burke- WHS led by 9 at the half and was playing well and then started turning the ball over and gave up 28 in the third quarter to find themselves down 8. They came back to tie in the fourth before East pushed the lead back out. If Watauga plays 4 quarters and doesn't turn the ball over 20 times they can win this basketball game. I think this will be close throughout and the experience of WHS will help pull it out.

South Caldwell at McDowell should be pretty fun as well. South lives and dies by the shooting of Sams, Gross, and Hall. I think McDowell wins a 5-9 point ball game because of the ability of Gellman and Brooks to provide balence for McDowell and play well inside. South also has to limit turnovers if they want to win.

    McDowell

    Autumn Ward 18 points
Xandi Gellman 11 pts, 11 rebounds
    Kristen Maney 9 pts
    Madison Thomas 8 pts
    Kaitlin Gallion 8 pts
    Tuccoa Brackett 8 pts

    South Caldwell

    Mattison Hall 17 pts
    Katie Sharpe 10 pts

South played McDowell pretty tough for the first 10 minutes or so, unfortunately the Lady Spartans went cold and the Lady Titans took advantage. It just looked like South Caldwell was stunned by how fast it got out of hand in the 2nd quarter...couldn't recover.

You just gotta look at it in this way...some teams just match up well with others. McDowell has a big advantage especially in the interior.
