CPC Predictions

Davie county could very easily slip in with Ryan carter (posible player of the year ) Jess Cartner 1b , Jacob vernon c, alot of arms Gaither, Berryhill,
long , also young phenoms Newman, Watson,

Mt. Tabor- Batt, Thomas, simpson, Morton,

West Forsyth- Holt , Alberts, If they have a kid that can throw 94 they should never loose with him on the mound.

North Davidson- Looses alot but should be competitve

Reynold, North Forsyth- ????

 

This shows how scary WF is this year. The kid that can legitimately hit 94 may not even start a game this year as a pitcher. But it wouldn't surprise me to see him come in as a closer...lights out!

 

Well the fun starts Monday. Should be another great season in the CPC with all the teams chasing the Title. I would say Mt. Tabor has to be the favorite to win the league this year. They return alot and have great arms led by Parker Thomas and Mat Batts. However, I feel there are others in this league who could give them a run for their money. I can't wait until CPC season starts up. Good luck to all teams. This is always a great conference to watch.

 

1) WF - Offense is overwhelming, a.griffin t.alberts j.holt d.myers t.coyle j.clark d.todd and d.cook can all hit. On top of this offense you have myers coyle alberts griffin and currie who all can pitch effectively against any team in the state.These guys will be extremely tough too beat which is why i am predicting them the CPC 4A Champ.

2.) MT- Will be riding the arms of two top notch pitchers. Parker Thomas is a big righty with a power fastball, only question is if the heater will be as fast during season as it is during the summer, we will have to see. M Batts, will anchor this team, can really swing the bat and a very crafty lefty. Tabor also has morton at the plate and simpson on the mound.

3.) Davie - Will shock some people in my opinion, these guys have played together for a long time now and will have r. carter back with them this year. They look to do some damage in the conference.

4.) N. Davidson - Lost a ton but have alot to compete with. Joyce will have to step up and really carry this team through the conference, North has two standout underclassmen who should be effective for them, Lassiter and Ramsey. Lassiter at the plate and Ramsey on the bump.

5.) Reynolds - Sophmore standout Connor Andus will for sure help these guys having returned from Veritas. Great catcher and one of the best sticks in the Conference. Lefty pitcher ( sorry can recall his name) should also help these guys a ton

6) N. Forsyth - Program has been shaky not really sure how these guys will compete this year, took a big loss after losing there ss and one of there better hitters. Kids have played together and they will be responsible for there final spot in the conf.

 

Chemistry...

WF watch the Clemmons Boys they just seem to get it done... Davie is a sleeper and ND is uses to being there...

If.. and a very big if.. MT... Hope Batts, Wrege and Simpson go out with big years...
