NW4A Week 5 Schedule...

The way I see it is this...Alexander is a good team this year. I was not at the game when they played Watuaga so I will not comment on how good they are. All I know is that they did hold AC to a low in points and beat them at AC. But at the same time that was at a time when AC was not playing to well to. When they go to Boone I know it will be a hard game to win for them but I do know Wills will have them ready to play this time.

 

Ok lets all calm down a little bit first of all Jmundy is a true of an AC fan as youll ever find..so dont ? that...As for Watugua they beat AC at ac. so we cant really say much right now(althought there was some questionable calls) but i def. think ac is goin to boone an getting a win but until then i want comment on that. Also AC is playing well right now an we know that but i see them turning it around this week and upsetting freedom at home on senior night..for many reasons coach wills has 4 days to prepare an after the lost to east burke he will have AC ready not to mention senior right place will be rocking.....

 

good luck against freedom i hope ac takes that one,somebody needs to beat those guys,if ford had not had 38 i think watauga would have got that game ,but if and buts mean nothing.you have to do it on the court and we did not get it done.

 

the conference is EXTREMELY weak. let me choose 5 players from last years watauga team and we would beat last years team and this years team.

 

i could seriously see 5 players from watauga this year beating wataugas starting 5 last year. they may not have the size as the pioneers did last season, but they play so well as a team they are hard to stop. the conference is not EXTREMELY down. the competition level may be down a little (ex. mcdowell & reynolds).

In my humble opinion the POY is down to a two man race. Hargrave and Ford. If you give it to the player who has done the most for his team night in and night out, it goes to Hargrave. If you give to the player who has led his team to the NW4A best record, it goes to Ford. If you give it to the player who his team could absolutely NOT do without, it goes to Hargrave (what can I say this kid has made me a fan). If you do what is best for the game, it co-players of the year Hargrave and Ford.

 

ford should not be the player of the year if it comes down to them two it should go to hardgraves. sam is a pure shooter but hardgraves has more to his game than just shooting the ball
