    It's All Good---(I reckon)

The North Piedmont Conference is full of intrique and good teams. Last year, 6 teams made the playoffs, and of couse, East Rowan took the West. The conference draws alot of attention. You hear about transfers all the time: one here, one there. I admit, it does seem a little unusual to hear about 3-4 coming to one school. But, it's all good! It will be interesting to see how well West Rowan does this year. Sometimes, Team Chemistry will ruin a team faster than poor pitching and sloppy defense!

I'm pretty sure Crucitti wanted a ring, and he got one.

Nothing wrong with smacktalk about games,,, but specific false accusations is libel,,, and its been done that folk can find out who internet posters are, and take you to court. This is why some message boards will revoke you immediately the first time you use the R-word, because they don't want no trouble. Just be careful with certain discussions.

As for Mooresville/Lake Norman flying under the radar, sorry you 2 cats are favorites too. Should be some great games this spring. Play Ball.

That's what I was trying to say before, you can't just throw accusations around like that, because something potentially bad could happen. I just can't wait for this season to start because there are so many good teams in this conference and just because you don't get labeled the favorite shouldn't offend you. The top 4 teams in this league could win it. Also I agree with what Travisunc said earlier about some of East's returning players being role players. Those guys are definitely not role players. East needed those guys last year to make it to the state finals and without them, they wouldn't have made it. East has an experienced bunch of proven players which will help them have the upper hand in a lot of games.

Sorry to upset LN and Mo'ville but East has to be the clearcut favorite to repeat as champs. They return a group of core starters and still have legit pitching. I am intrigued by West's additions though which should heat up this rivalary more so than years past and West will def. compete. But with LN not having a proven number 2 or very successful track record i dont think they will be a major factor. Mo'ville could be in the mix but it will be tough without studs on the hill like beaver and meadows.

A lot of people are talking about how deep easts pitching staff has been and especially the jayvees pitching that will be coming up this year. At rowan legion laws and gobble didnt have alot of success, not to mention laws has significant back problems and shive is coming back from surgery. With these injuries, they will deffinetly impact the players play on the field.

As for west, the pitching is anchored by the two aces and after that it is not that clear. They will deffinetly need the rest of the staff to improve and live up to capabilitlies for them to have a thorough pitching staff in the bullpen.

i didnt say that they would. but if you dont think mooresville or lake norman can compete with east rowan or west.... you have another thing coming. mooresville can put 7,8,9 runs on anyone. and lake norman has pitching.
