Agility Training : I Totally Approve

I highly recommend all kids to go through a good strength training / agility program from a qualified instructor. I have been hanging around the "Dungeon" , training facility in Granite Falls over the past month, and let me tell you I have stopped and watched these young ladies from all ages get a good hard workout from the instructor, and the results of this strength training have been magnificiant on the field . These kids workout for over a solid hour,and it resembles boot camp, but they work hard,and follow instructions to the "T" !!! The instructor gives them no slack ,blows his whistle when its time to perform the next exercise, and these kids are like clockwork going from point A to point B. It also builds discipline at an early age ,and trains them to respect those that are in charge. The results on the field have been phenominal with better foot speed, stronger arms, and swings at the plate!! The CV Storm Organization has joined with others to promote this great exercise program for young athletes to help keep their bodies in shape !!

This is great program. Both DD's improved. The instructors were great, pushed when they needed help to finish. Prasied them when they worked hard. Not only did this help get there bodies in shape but improved my DD's confidence. This was money well spent.

 

WINTER TRAINING

I'D HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE FALL/WINTER TRAINING-OUR SEASON FINISHED NOV.18TH WITH A TRIP TO MYRTLE BEACH AND YOU'D THINK THE GIRLS WOULD WANT A LITTLE TIME OFF...WE'VE TAKEN ABOUT 3 WEEKS OFF TOTAL SINCE. WE HAVE A SIMILAR FACILITY HERE IN HICKORY THAT MY ORGANIZATION AND SEVERAL OTHERS HAVE BEEN USING.THE INSTRUCTORS ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC (ONE PLAYED/PITCHED FOR THE "YANKEES" AND THE OTHER PLAYED/PITCH FASTPITCH FOR 4YEARS IN THE SAC/DIV.II. THEY HAVE 17 DIFFERENT STATION, INCLUDING 3 BATTING CAGES W/IRON MIKE PITCHING , 4 PITCHING MOUNDS (2 OF WHICH ARE DESIGN FOR SOFTBALL) , 2 VIDEO ANALYSIS STATIONS , AN INDOOR DIRT INFIELD ALONG WITH SPECIAL MACHINE THAT THROWS GROUNDERS...ALONG WITH ALL THE TOYS THAT FOLLOW TEES , STAYBACKS , SWINGAWAYS , ETC...MY TEAM VISIT 2 TIMES A WEEK(PITCHERS 3TIMES-WORKS W/THE INSTRUCTOR) AND I HAVE YET TO SEE ONE OF THEM NOT SORE..LOL! FOR INSTANCT ON SAT. WE'LL HAVE BATTING DRILL STATIONS FROM 10AM TO 11AM -FROM 11AM-12NOON ,WE DO AGILITY TRAINING...30 MIN.BREAK FOR PIZZA...THEN THE FACILITY HAS A BALL PARK LOCATED RIGHT BEHIND THEM...WE USUALLY FINISH UP WITH A INTERSQUAD SCRIMMAGE (OUTDOORS)WITH LIVE PITCHING AROUND 2PM . IT'S NICE TO HAVE A FACILITY THAT WORKS WITH THE GIRLS SO WELL WHILE ALSO BUILDING DISCLIPLINE AND SELF-CONFIDENCE.
