    Well kerri won 4 conference championship (3 shared and 1 outright).She won the conference tournament twice.She also had a state title.Davis had 2.Another one from freedom who would be all time nw4a is Kenda walker who played on the 89 team.

    I wish someone would post the stats of ford gardin davis washington n thr career top 2 bottom (pts. asst. stl. reb. fg% 3pt% etc.) then imo it would make it easier 2 discuss this!not sure but i think ford had better numbers when wash. won poy but mcd. won conf. each time. . .pull the numbers i would love 2 c them!![/quote]

    Washington w be a good choice, it is likely Ford will get a POY honor this season, i think Ford's right to an all time team would be because of being the all time scoring leader not team record, Anna's w be similar due to State assist record , Davis and Gardin were both State POY(kinda like Pete Maravich in NCAA being an all-time leader always gets put on their all-time teams)
    Thats my argument for these 4.

    With McDowell taking the Season Championship...we still got three games of interest tonight to end the regular season. Freedom and AC Reynolds are both tied (8-3) for 2nd place in the conf. standings.

    Freedom hosts East Burke and Reynolds hosts McDowell...these games have significant bearing on possible sectional seeding. I would rather try to establish my seeding before the conference tourney than to hope on winning three games next week.

    Just a reminder...if Freedom and Reynolds hold even after tonight, their seeding (for sectionals) will be determined by how each team fares in the conf. tourney

    South Caldwell still has a lot to fight for as well, if they can win and East Burke falls, South will climb into a tie for 4th. That is of significance to East Burke because their only likely scenario of making the playoffs would be as a 4-seed.

    Dan, Im not sure this is 100% accurate,but this is my understanding;

    If 2 teams are tied in the conference standings then the first tie breaker is head to head (once that tie is broken it remains broken for rest of the playoffs)...so if FHS and ACR hold serve and BOTH win or Both lose, then FHS would have swept the head to head competition and would get #2. (if they were tied and had split during the season -the conference tourney would then come into play.
    However if any team other than the first place team wins the tourney--they could take over the second slot.
    so for ACR to be #2 for the tournament- they must win and FHS must lose.
    For SC, if they win and EB loses then you would be looking at how each fared against the 1 seed--McDowell.
    EB would get that seed due to the win over McD.

    Were you thinking something different?

    FHS Cruised in this one, Ali had a great senior night with 22 but 18 were in first half. Everyone scored-I think. Locked up the 2 seed so play at home on Monday at 7 vs Alex. Cent. @ FHS .
    Ford was given he McDonalds All American plaque by Company Rep at halftime...I think ithey read that she's in contention for final cut and has made it thru several cuts.

    Im not certain WBRM will broadcast games from Reynolds because of their inabilities to obtain a signal in the black hole of Reynolds Community. This is even more of a reason for WBRM to go back to a land-line connection.

    If you have a Verizon wireless phone, it's nearly impossible to get a good enough signal inside the AC Reynolds gym to broadcast the game. Football season it isn't an issue.
