I'd bet my priceless, Braves-adorned, 1958 Catawba River Sand Company bag on it!!

While Providence and Ardrey Kell Get all the ink....

While Providence and Ardrey Kell Get all the ink....Myers Park will be the team to surprise a bunch of people in the SW4A.

Chris Overman can dominate a game from the mound. Match that with solid defense -and their top 5 or 6 hitters can all rake.

John Spencer was brought in to coach this team, and he knows his stuff. He will get them to actually reach most - and maybe even more - than their potential this year.

Providence is a media favorite year in and year out. They have all the great players and the best coach.now only time will tell. They should go about three or four deep hitting.Yes sure they get some guys with multiple homeruns.A 10 year old could play a season on that short field and be scouted. So it's not unusual to think they have big power hitters. They have good H.S. baseball players. That get very good attention.

Wow, you got some cheap shots in there--you do know that AK has the shortest field in the conference, don't you? So tell us who you think will win the SW4A and why?

Braves - Look at the fence...

Aww, c'mon Braves...at least Ardrey Kell had the sense to raise the height of the wall...

There's times when I think those short fences are batting average killers. Especially at Providence, I've seen so many towering pop ups and have to believe those guys were going for the fence. Hit line drives at the black wall in center and you'll be much better off.

PlayLaughLive is on to something with Myers Park. I don't think there is much difference between MP, AK, and Providence. All have solid pitching, hitting, and defense, I think they will all due well in the playoffs and wouldn't be surprised if any one wins the West.

:rotflmao:.....that's not going to stop Alex to get his fair share. BTW, I understand that to hit a HR in CF this year at Providence, you have to hit it over the 45 foot fence :REDanceBanana008:

I'm sorry, I missed the part where you included Butler in that mix. Their pitching is their strength, but if they can get others to step up with the bats this year.......watch out! And I believe many are overlooking South Meck. This is a stud team this year! Where's the love for them

Don't forget that there are some pretty solid teams in the MECA-7 as well.

I agree with you on the meca-7. This conference never get's any attention. They have at least three team's maybe 4 that can compete with anybody.Hopewell, Robinson, ceatral cab, North meck. This conference will only get stronger next season with the addition of Moorsville and Lake Norman.
