    Yeah these are the games Thursday​

    #4 East Burke vs #1 Freedom at 6:00
    #3 Watauga vs #2 Alexander Central at 7:45​

    I heard the Watauga vs AC Reynolds game got out of hand tonight due to some poor sportsmanship displayed by the Rockets after they realized they weren't going to win. Phillips apparently was T'ed up and some Rocket fans threatened an official.​

    All I have to say about that is glad that ACR's season is over.​

    South Caldwell's boys tonight gave it a good fight. Alexander is just too good.​

    AC Reynolds - WHS

    ACR behavior was less than admirable but I think they were just frustrated at the end of a long season. Fans were screaming at officials all game. Even if they were horrible (I'd say mediocre but not biased), they probably weren't the 30+ points difference. Newell had another huge game and the rest of the team continued to be extremely effective and unified. Semi-final match-ups should both be fun to watch!
