    Myers Park looks very strong - beat Scotland County 15-3 in 12.

    Robert Balsley looked very strong on the mound as did Chris Overman. Super soph. Hedberg may be the best of the sophmore class in Charlotte...he is going to be a kid to watch.

    South Granville hosts Garner on Thurs. 2/26 at 4:30 and Knightdale on Sat. 2/28 at 2:30.

    Actually Pretty Funny

    In his second inning he threw a great pitch for strike three and the infield and Alex started running off the field...only problem was the umpire must have blinked and missed it...next pitch was a tap back to the pitcher to end the inning.

    In his third, the batter swung and missed for strike three but again the umpire must have blinked...and the first base ump was asleep at the wheel...actually pretty funny in a scrimmage game...I guess the umps are getting the kinks worked out as well...

    Apex looked real strong - excellent pitching - ss Diaz(NC St) made some phenomenal plays - they will be hard to beat

    Webb(Granville County) appears solid - very scrappy and pitchers throw strikes

    there was talk one of the Broughton pitchers hit 91 against Webb - can anyone verify - same kid hit a bomb against Apex

    did not see East Chapel Hill

    The Broughton pitcher who hit 91 was most likely Daniel Brown...senior who is heading to Liberty next year
