Tar Heels Over Cal!!

I for sure don't have a dog in this fight... I don't even have a daughter!!! But after reading all the posts from Trooper and Tarheel Gal I just wanted to say.... I appreciated the post above as a good, quick, overview of what was, I assume, a big game for the UNC softball team.

I took it as Constance Orr pitched a good game, spraying hits but keeping the Calfornia girls off balance enough that they did NOT get the home run ball or the gappers enough to score runs. I took it as she pitched well enough and kept them off balance enough that that hit some hard grounders which the UNC girls did what they were supposed to, make the plays... I took BMAC's post as some the plays that were made were tough plays and the UNC girls came through and came up with a big win!!!

I took Troopers post as not so much a direct attack on Ms Orr's pitching or BMAC's post but almost a jealously post that either they feel someone else should have been pitching or that UNC was lucky to have won the game and Cal is better and should have won...

Again, no dog in the fight, just my perception of the posts!!!

I know you're chompin' on the bit... but it will be just a week or so until both your boys will be at it. Good luck to them this season and I hope to get over to the USA complex when son #2 plays and I know we'll see each other in May at son #1's place!
