    Dawgswood,
Congrats on Alex making the Baseball Clearinghouse All National team. I see a couple of other SCP players made it also. Give us the scoop this year when Alex pitches. I have not seen a schedule; does Olympic play AK this year?

Ardrey Kell 5 Mt Pleasant 2 after 7. As I warned they kept on playing through 13 innings with AK up 14-9 at the end. Furr from Mt Pleasant hit 2 2-run HR's. Burris the ss also looked great. Mt Pleasant looks like a very good team so watch out for them.

    Reagan

Reagan out of the gate looking strong with pitching and hitting and a solid defense to boot.

Beating both opponents (R.J.Reynolds and West Stokes) last Staurday lead by the hitting of Bost, Parker and Blake

    Bost 1 HR
    Parker 3 - 6
    Blake 3 - 4 with 3 HR

Last night Reagan took down East Forsyth lead by the hitting of Blake and Colbreth.

    Blake 2-3 2 doubles
    Cobreth 3-3 1 double

Reagan is 3-0 in scrimage play

Since Coach Tyson (formerly of Central Cabarrus) has taken his coaching to Mt.Pleasant, and he put his own man in charge of the Mt.Pleasant Middle School program, look for MPHS to be very good every year.

IMO, Mt.Pleasant could be the best baseball team in Cabarrus County this year, even though they are the smallest school.

    Webb vs Louisburg

Webb manhandled Louisburg Wednesday at LHS. Dylan Newton had a field day at the plate for Webb. Both teams infield pretty solid. Louisburg's outfield play is brutal at best, centerfield is gonna need a lot of work. Webb pitchers Ryan Allen, Pat Whitt, Chris Hill and Geoff Cash did well. Tate's pitching is pretty deep when you include Trey Talley, Mitch Frazier, and Newton. LHS isn't as bad as they showed Wed, just a little unprepared in my opinion. LHS is still young as 1 senior(Crawford Bolton C/P/OF) started, 2 juniors, 4 sophmores, and two freshmen started. LHS' Chase Ragland(Jr. RHP, SS) was impressive on the mound. Dustin Jones (Jr. 2b) not too shabby either. Gray Ayscue and Dusty Ayscue, both freshmen, will shine for four years at LHS.
Unfortunately, Wes Ragland arrived late so therefore, Raymond Allen was declared the winner by forfeit in their scheduled ladder match. And again, "the Original Hart" Jimmy Wright was there with his trusty radar gun.
