    MODELS AND ENSEMBLES SHOW A THREAT FOR SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM
    DEVELOPMENTS THIS WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK AS AMPLIFIED MID-UPPER
    LEVEL TROUGHS OVER OFF/OVER THE WEST AND EAST COASTS SANDWICH A
    CENTRAL US MEAN RIDGE...ALL UNDERNEATH BLOCKY AND COMPLEX NRN
    STREAM FLOW FROM CANADA THROUGH THE NORTH ATLANTIC.

    At this time there is a good chance of a significant snow from Charlotte westward and rain eastward due to a upper level storm system in the upper atmosphere that is at this time diving through the Upper Mississippi Valley toward the S.E. USA. Once it gets here somewhere near Atlanta,Ga., it is suppose to produce a strong low pressure system,and move slowly through the S.E. towards the coast near Myrtle Beach. This storm has its own cold air with it due to its origin. North and west of the center it will be cold enough for snow, and this snow could be very heavy into the western and central N.C & upstate S.C. If all goes as plan we could be getting a significant accumulation by Monday afternoon..don't be fooled by these warm temps., it is going to change by Sunday...Saturday should be all rain as upper feature moves to our east when this occurs the temp. is going to drop and the rain will mix and eventually turn to snow... Comprende ???

    Update !!!


    NWS says could be major March storm if upper low is setting in the right location......... 3-8 inches of snow from the Mts. to the coast !! Some areas could get even more !! Rain on Saturday might keep totals down slightly because of surface conditions being too wet !!

    my wife just busted a gut laughing at this, nice hat though. nice looking dawg also. but a rocket tech and a worth in the same picture, especially an 04 rocket tech???????

    oh yeah, snowman was pretty good also.
