    I just knew McDowell lost, usually ya'll r pretty quick about putting up the score. Glad I was wrong. Hope Mcdowell can take Butler Friday nite. I'm pulling for McDowell, Freedom, & Draughn.

    The first significant upset IMO in the 4A West bracket occurred in Sectional 1 tonight...

    Mallard Creek 66
    Mt. Tabor 65

    East Burke is a very feisty group...and as you said they are well coached. Coach Gravel has done a good job with a very young squad. Congrats to the Lady Cavs.

    Thanks EBHS. Don't mind getting off early a bit. What better excuse could I have. Good luck and maybe I can meet a fellow TBR'er there. I'll be pulling for the Eagles of course!

    I heard they won from a friend whose stepdaughter goes to South, but don't know any details, or even who they played.

    But, from a good source, I'm pretty sure they won.

    Wow...if that's the case the Northwestern 4A will have 3 teams playing tomorrow for the chance to go to Greensboro.

    S Caldwell won by 12 , you make your own luck but now they get Mallard Creek the easiest of the 3 NW4A opponents left!

    FHS Hosts Double header tomorrow, Girls at 6:30 vs East Meck boys after vs Myers Park---WOW!
