I know a kid that plays college baseball up north. One of his old teammates works for me as a plastics engineer. The kid is doing an internship with John Deere. His college coach told him he has to play somewhere this summer. John Deere has said they will work with him. Now he needs a team. Any idea where a 20 year old might play some summer ball in the Charlotte area? May be too old for legion. He is currently at Penn State-Behrend in the plastics engineering program. Any help is appreciated.

That's going to be tough Putt. All of the teams are full with a waiting list, but it's all about timing now. Kids get hurt during their sschool season while other kids just quit. I'll post a link to all the college summer programs around this area.

This is the best contact. If they're any openings, Bill Capp would be the one to know.

Which reminds me of something he asked? I'll post it in its own thread, but basically, Bill has a few areas open for Owner/General Manager of their own team in the SCBL. This would be a hoot to own and run and there are some great opportunities in some very good areas.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but I manage a team in the NABA league (18 and over) here in Charlotte, we only play 2 games a week so I don't know if that's what he is looking for. You can e-mail me if you would like at [email protected].
    Thanks
