Providence did look more impressive, thats what makes this game good from this side of the fence. JHR plays C+ game at best, still finds a way to win late and then put it away. It's obvious JHR still has some things to iron out, and the rain outs this week showed. As far as hitting, I am not concerned... it's a matter of seeing more live pitching, as I know these batters.

Not a bad outing, considering there was only one defensive/offensive starter on the field from last year. What you saw is all brand new....

One game at a time and make each at bat count...

It was an exciting game to watch. If the State Championship games are as exciting as that one was....wow, I can't wait!!!!!

It was really good to meet you yesterday Braves... Folks, here's a man that really loves the game and appreciates all the kids efforts. Nothing vested in any game, he knew there was going to be great ball played and he was there all day... I think he may have earned the title of Mayor yesterday! Really good guy all the way around...

Looking forward to hanging out and talking baseball when I am not so mentally smothered in a game, Braves...lol... and EC...EC comes up and I am so mental, I couldn't talk...sorry... but you'll be having many visits to our area soon... :REDanceBanana011:

    Well

I just got my computer back on line. I just sent my game reports including this game to Andy for the Impact Site. Both teams are very good. Rose hurt itself with bad baserunning and poor bunt execution. Providence missed some scoring opportunities as well. But isnt that all part of the game?

Both teams are very talented and well coached. I already knew Shaffer was a very talented. I got a chance to see a couple of guys for Providence I now know are really really good. Tyler Zupcic , Kurt Semeniuk and CA Clayton. By the way that wasnt a bad hop to Clayton that was a freakin seed he was lucky not to get planted with.

Rose is just Rose. A bunch of gritty ball players that you have to kill like a snake. You got to cut off their head , beat it with a hoe and then burn all of it with gas. If not they will find a way to beat you.

The call on the balk was unfortunate. But thats baseball. Both teams are very good and should have outstanding seasons once again. You never know they may meet again.

Rose is Clearly #1 Seed in the State

Obviously, Rose deserves the #1 ranking. Congrats to Rose for reloading again this year...these kids can play.
