.....2 strikes on the batter, pitcher flings one over the batters head, as the batter ducks out of harms way, the ball hits the bat.
    You make the call.

should it not depend on where the ball ends up? If if stays fair or goes foul but whether they hit it on purpose or not they still put the ball into play right?

...ok, so if you were the ump, you would look at this situation as a hitter swinging the bat, and fouling the ball , therefor, the batter still has 2 strikes. why?

One time my DD was at bat. The ball was pitched high and inside, as she started to pull back the ball struck the bottom of the knob of the bat. Then proceeded to roll in fair territory. For a split second everyone including the ump looked at each other. Then DD took off for first base. Beat the throw. Afterwards DD said when she looked at the ump and he did not jester one way or the other, she took that as fair:drink:

Foul ball on two strikes is a foul ball... Are you trying to say it might be called a bunt attempt?

You also never said if the catcher catches the ball after it is accidentally hit before it touches the ground or fence.

As long as the ball hit the bat, where it stops or is first touched will determine the proper call, fair, foul or dead ball.

Because she fouled off the ball on third strike
Foul Ball count remains the same
Unless the ball was caught before it hit the ground (Which means Batter is out) or the ball goes into fair territory = LIVE BALL !!!!!
