OK, and Taylor was pulled, "why"? Hope that wasn't a conference game!

Congrats to the Sun Valley you played a solid game. Hickory Ridge put the ball in play but only come up with two hits.
The first pitcher was Stacy Wolfrey and the second one is a Freshman I think her name is Emily.

I think Coach A was looking at 3 games in a row this week and both pitchers have been sharp at practice. I'm not sure she realized Taylor had a perfect game going.

Yes, it was a conference game.

Looks like Freedom is playing really well. Go senior catcher, "BB" Harrell! You make the coach's job easy!

No reason to pull the pitcher and take a chance on changing the momentum!

Ashley Rhyne tossed a no hitter vs. Highland Tech, and Ashley Workman hit 2 home runs for West Lincoln. (Very little pre-season action) They missed their scrimmage, and had some practices weathered out, but should be a good game vs. North Lincoln on Thursday.

    Forbush wins in 7th inning

    Forbush 5
    Reagan 4

I don't have all the facts, but will do better next time. Forbush was down 4-0 going into the bottom of the 6th when they pushed 3 runs across. In the bottom of the 7th and two outs, Forbush ties it up and with runners on 1st and 2nd, Ciera Cockerham hits a single to left to score the winning run. Reagan hit the ball very well. Kim Blust hit a 2-run homer over the fence in the 1st inning. IMO, very much improved group of ladies from Reagan. Props to the Falcons for not giving up.
