    Agreed !

    I don't want to sound like an armchair QB, but Michael makes that backhand play that Graepel waved at in game 1, everytime.
    He is phenomenal going to his right.
    If it's me, my inf is; Graepel 3b-Michael-ss,Seager-2b, and Who on first.

    There are some pretty good freshman in the acc this year, Might want to hold back on giving him that award just yet

    Levi Michael hit his team-leading 5th home run today, and is also tied for the team lead in RBI's with 18...

    Is everyone now convinced he made the right choice?

    TUSCON, Ariz. - Less than six months after graduating early from North Davidson High School, North Carolina freshman second baseman Levi Michael was honored Wednesday with a spot on the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team, as selected by Collegiate Baseball newspaper. UNC has had at least one freshman All-America selection for the past eight seasons.

    The Welcome, N.C., native has been the Tar Heels' starting second baseman for all but one game this season and is batting .293 with 13 home runs, four triples, 13 doubles and 54 RBI. His 13 homers equal the second most by a UNC rookie and are just two off Chad Flack's record of 15 set in 2005.

    Thanks to a career-high-tying four hits against Coastal Carolina in last weekend's regional, Michael was named to the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional All-Tournament Team.

    Players like this are very special. Congrats on a great "senior" year.

    I was told that only Brave's Dr. Methusda's Crystal Ball could do that!
    My Ronco Guess-A-Matic only has hindsight vision. (dang it, they didn't tell me that when I bought it)

    Getting back to Levi Michael: I'm glad he's a Tarheel!:cheers2:

    has always been a player. My son played with him on one of OAC teams a few years back. He has always want to play for UNC. The sky is the limit for this kid. He will go far in life.

    With all the talk of Narron not attending UNC, any talk of other Eastern NC players, John Wooten or Walker Gourley being chosen in draft?
