I wanted to be one of the first to show my appreciation of Shelby's win yesterday against Forestview!

Those girls have worked their tail off for the last 3 years and it's nice to see that come to fruition.

They have a great and experienced new coach. I look forward to reading about their continued accomplishments!

    Congrats

to Mckinney for the HR. That was her first, saw her last night. She was still smiling from ear to ear, sweet kid. Beaver also has worked very hard in the off season. Good luck for the rest of the season.

I bet that she is! Everyone at the South Caldwell tourney remembers her deep center field shot in the spring break tourney last season as well!

Very proud for ALL of them!

    Bessemer tourney

Almost got one there. She hit one up on the fence there, look like it was going to make it out. I got there late but Dad said he was on his toes leaning trying to help.

i told ya all, shelby is gonna be a contender in the near future, our game with them was competative and the lefty pitcher kept my girls in knots for a while trying to figure out the spin. i told my kids to not hit it to the ss, as she has a cannon for an arm and the glove to go with it.

Are you talking about "Mini-Me"? Fantastic little pitcher and kid, and a great family to boot!

    Thanks

Talking about heros, Laura Hopper is a great role model for young left handed pitchers and mini-me loves to watch her pitch. With her to look up to and the best pitching coach around to keep pushing her (Tony Arthur) we are looking forward to many good years to come. Meanwhile ladiesbballfan is busy getting ALL his girls signed- that's quite a feat! Congratulations to a great hard-working coach.
