    Okay Then

How about high school girls @ college camps ?? Is that you real concern ?? I know about 1/3 of the SWR girls, and I'm happy for them to experience a chance to play anywhere that is nice. Do you not think that college coaches see girls other places than their own facilities? C'mon let them experience real softball, don't try to stir the pot !! If the NCAA was concerned about these above mentioned concerns they would no have let them play !! I wish my daughter could play in a nice facility. I guess we will have to cancel the State Games ,because they are played @ UNC-Charlotte (D1)...LOL...lighten up !! Life is too short, get some Lexpro it will help you !!

    Completely legal...

As long as the college coach does nothing more than open and close the park, and handle any field maintenance. Totally legal.

I have had a HS playing all their home games at my field for the last three years.

    HS girls at camps

My daughter has been to UNC camps before and while there we have seen 2 of the future Tar Heels at the camps a campers. So I asked that same ?. The answer was from another college coach. This is an official camp approved by NCAA and all the campers pay their own way. No problem.....

    solid div 1

AM is a solid Div 1 player. It's her choice on where she wants to go to school.

    other ??

OK on the NCAA question (HS teams playing at a college facility), but what about the other question.............

how do you justify the extra mileage and other costs to travel to these college venues, especially not in your vicinity, in these tough economic times ?

    How ??

How do we justify the $200.00 cell phones that we carry, $10,000.00 wide screen T.V.'s, 4 cars ,etc..... ??? America is a spoiled nation....could we do with less than what we have?? Certainly !! What is the real issue here ?? I think I know ,but I want get myself banned !!! Let the kids have fun,and enjoy what is left of America, because very soon it may be all gone !! I drive over 100 miles one way to practice with my kids, and just be with them, I don't have a dog in the fight, call me crazy, but I call it wanting to see their success. If I can help one kid reach her goals if was worth every mile !! By the way it isn't anything personal, but I get tired of all the politics when kids want to enjoy their childhood, and we parents try to strip them of it !!

I got the bill for the cost for my daughter to play for her High School team...$366! $275 of that is the cost to go to Myrtle Beach and play three games over spring break. I think this is crazy. We had a senior who has played every year since the seventh grade who did not try out for the team because she could not afford the trip. The coach told me they were paying $750 entry fee for the tournament for three games, not a three game guarantee...three games! $366 to play High School ball is absurd! I will pay it because my daughter wants to play but I'm not happy about it. Do other schools do this?

    Unfortunately---

Unless you play football everything else cost. I remember 4 years ago when my DD wanted to play for the middle school team they wanted $225.00 for all kinds of stuff, and at that time I was in the process of putting 2 kids in their first year of college !! I feel for you !!
