NC Sun Devils - Taylor Miller

    Congratulations to Taylor Miller. On Tuesday, March 31, Taylor verbally committed to Coach David Williams and the Mars Hill Lions.

    Taylor is a standout student at Mount Pleasant High School, and is one of the strongest hitters around. Congratulations also go out to her parents, Robert and Laurie, who are very proud of the Taylor on and off the field.

    I want to be the first to offer my congratulations to Taylor, Robert, Laurie. Its frankly emotional to see such good friends and such a fine young lady realize the fruits of such hard work. Its a long road... God Bless you and tear 'em up at Mars Hill!

    Now Robert get to work on the "D" train...

    Thanks so much for the comments and for yours John Fagala on the ScoreBoard page.

    Taylor is finishing up her junior year and as many of you know we have a unique situation in that TayMill is a triplet!!! Two girls and one boy!!! Three entering college at the same time....... WOW!!!!!

    God has blessed Taylor with this opportunity to play the game that she and our family love so much and get her education as well. We prayerfully consider all major decisions and knew almost the first time we stepped on the campus of Mars Hill that it met ours and Taylor's goals when we started this journey years ago. Small school, opportunity to play and make an impact early, play close enough to home that the other 6 people in our family could see her play regularly. As John mentioned in addition to the triplets we also have two adopted children.

    I am so proud of the young woman that used to be my "little girl" that is now taking the reigns of her life and moving forward. Taylor is an easy going; fun loving young lady and I am proud to be her dad. We are almost through the part of this journey where I throw endless numbers of balls in the batting cage but there will be memories that we will share from all of this that will never change!
