Good to see at least one school in Cabarrus County takes softball serious enough to get the field ready to play after the little bit of rain we had yesterday.
Congrats to the Lady Spiders on their win!!

West Meck and Charlotte Catholic got their game in yesterday when they probably shouldn't have, the field was a mess. Catholic had a 2-0 lead through 4 innings when West Mecks bats finally woke up and scored 5 unanswered for the 5-2 win. West Meck is now 10-0 and there's a good chance they will go undefeated in their conference. The only downfall for this team so far is that they don't start to hit the ball until the later innings, besides that, they are pretty good.
