Give A Shout Out To Mars Hill's D. Presnell

We need to give a quick shoutout to the toughest ball player to come out of these parts. He had heard it all his playing days...."your too small", "no power", "weak arm". One thing that couldnt be measured by anyone was Devin Presnell's heart and his will to win. Recruiters are scratching their heads today wondering "why didnt I even try to talk to him". DP is one of those players where a stopwatch or tape measurer is not needed. Just talk to him a little, and you will quickly understand why he is flourishing at Mars Hill College of the South Atlantic Conference. He is the starting shortstop and Team Captain as a junior. DP was known at Watauga as a scrap iron type player, and I remember that is uniform was always covered with infield dirt. Weekend before last he torched Lenoir Rhyne pitching to the tune of 8-13 and in a doubleheader hit two 3 run bombs and in game 2 hit for the cycle as MHC swept the weekend from LRC. DP is one of those that if he's on your side your glad he is, and if he's not you wish he was. He has a "Can Do" attitude and is all about his team and not himself. Good job D.
