    The woman trapped under the overturned dump truck Monday afternoon on Davis Drive in Cary is Kara Walden Benton who was a strong pitcher for Cary HS, the NC Challengers, and the Carolina Girls. There are many players and coaches in this area that know her.

    She is listed in critical condition at Wake Med according to WRAL. But the story said she was conscious and talking when they transported her. Keep her in your prayers, please.

    i remember Kara when she pitched for the nc challangers. hope things turn out for her and her family.

    Kara's condition has been upgraded to good at Wake Med. Her surviving the accident is described as a miracle. She and her husband are very fortunate.
    Thank God.
