    The Lady Trojans bash 15 singles in the 9-2 win at Knightdale. Christie Wright adds to her NCHSAA leading 12 wins and strikes out 10, allowing only 3 hits on the evening. Ashley Carroll has a perfect 4-for-4 night and Meghan Strickland has 4 RBI's for the 12-1 Trojans who remain unbeaten in the GNRC with their 7th conference win and sets up the critical conference showdown with W.Johnston Tuesday night at Trojan Park:

    Lindsey Warren (yes, Landon's sister) had a GREAT game today going 3 - 3 at the plate including a double off the fence in left field, made several great catches/plays in center, and scored both of Broughton's runs with great base running.

    Wish I knew all of the girls on Sanderson to give them credit. All I can say is that they can all hit the ball!

    Both pitched good game.
    Great defense by SV! Kudos to Liz T, Liz K, Storm, Emily, Kalie C, Kaile H,
    Hailey (Red), Yankee, Hollywood and the rest of the team who cheered them on
    SV led first inning 3-0
    Brown started to catch up in 4th, SV3-2ALB
    ALB's "wheels" Zbrasia at SS played tough ball-good job Z!
    SV added runs in 5th and 6th innings to make sure they held the lead.
