    Great Job Ladies!!

    Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team for their 18-0 victory over Albemarle today at Rock Creek Park in Albemarle.

    Taylor Carpenter pitched a perfect game allowing no hits, no walks and striking out 7 of the 9 batters she faced to get the win. It was Taylors 4th perfect game of the season. Congratulations Taylor !!!!!

    Leading hitters for MP were:

    Lindsey Huneycutt - 4 for 4, with a double and a triple and 1 RBI
    Allison Starnes - 2 for 2, a double, 3 runs scored and 1 RBI
    Lindsay Crudele - 2 for 2, with a triple and 2 runs scored
    Georgia Parker, Sarah Ritchie, Jocelyn Parnell, Taylor Carpenter and Emily Lewis with one hit apiece.

    With the win, the Lady Tigers are 16-1 overall and 12-0 in the RRC.

    Keep up the great work ladies !!!!

    Erin Standley (Fr. Butler HS) pitched her first no hitter in her second start of the season against Myers Park.
    Allison Rispoli went 4 for 4 at the plate for the Bulldogs and Willa Folmer came off the bench with bases loaded and ripped a triple to score three.

    I would have loved to see that contest two good pitchers and both teams are loaded with talent in the field and at the plate.
    Looks like coach "C" and company may be putting it together at the perfect time.
