    Butler 9 Myers Park 0

    Butler outplayed Myers Park in all phases of the game, easily beating MP at Butler. Tyler Tewell brokeup a scoreless game with a solo homer to lead off the fourth. Myers Park's defensive lapses contributed 2 more runs in the third. Ehrenberg led off the fourth with another solo shot, both taking advantage of a strong wind blowing out to rightfield. Again, MP's defense let down starter Robert Balsley, dropping 2 outfield pop flies and not covering first on a grounder to the right side. Butler scored 6 runs in a 6 out inning.

    Butler's pitcher allowed only 2 hits; one a bunt single; keeping MP off balance all game, while walking two. MP never advanced a runner to third; the only runner who got to second was doubled up on a line drive to center. Butler's defense supported the pitching with 4 DPs.

    Myers Park travels to Ardrey Kell Friday night looking to improve on it's 7-3 record in the SW4A.

    Garner defeated West Johnston at home on Tuesday night 14-1 in 5 Innings.

    Jacob Baker gets the win for Garner. The Trojans are now 9-8 on the season.

    Did Baseball Britt throw his hat down any? If so, I hate I missed it. He's the only guy I know that can start a fight with the Amish! Got to love him!

    Dirt Angels, backflips, and bunts, oh, my. That rematch game next week at Southern Alamance sounds like it's going to be good. It might be worth a road trip to take in. Better hire extra security.:pokestick:

    Central won 10-4. Was a much closer game than the score indicates.
