    A real competitor

    My son played with Nick a while back on the MegaStars and I remember seeing Nick at the first practice. He was going all out and you could see he was a real competitor. Later during the season, Nick made many outstanding plays at third base. Nick would always give maximum effort and sacrifice his body to stop anything coming his way. He was rewarded with some fine "web gems" that would make any coach (or parent) proud. Even with his prior injury, there was nothing tentative about Nick Forst.

    I had heard this story, but had not ever really known the details. He might think I'm weird, but the next time I see Nick, I'm going to give him a hug! It's a mother thing...
