That is part of my point. Most 2A school teams can not go as deep as 4A. Most 2A schools do not have 10 good ballplayers thus more strikeouts at 2A than at 4A. Yes, there are going to be a few good pitchers like Chelsea Leonard but are you saying that she would have the SAME stats pitching against 4a teams as she did 2A teams. I don't think so. One example if you went to the state games last year. A 2A pitcher from Madison who threw something like 20 no hitters gave up about 20 runs pitching against 3A and 4A girls. I'm not saying there are not good pitchers in 1A/2A but there is no way their stats would be that high pitching in a 4A conference. You guys are getting off the topic and missing what I'm saying totally. We are not talking about good and bad pitchers we are talking about the difference in STATS between 1A/2A and 3A/4A. Their stats would not be that great if they were pitching to better competition and the difference between 1A/2A and 3A/4A is like night and day. Go to Walnut Creek this year and walk around and observe the difference for yourself.

I still beg to differ I think Leonard would have those stats againist any High School in the Nation there are ALOT of weak 4A schools just as there are weak 1A schools a Kids talent doesn't know where she goes to school !!!!!

Another great 1a pitcher is Emily Self at Cherryville, she would compete very well at any 4a school. Hard worker, thats what it's about anyway, not where you go to school in high school.

You could also put Faith Sutton in the same category when she pitched at 2A North Pitt. I'll take Leonard and Sutton on any team together against any size school.

    WRONG!!!
It was not a 2a pitcher from Madison who gave up 20 runs and if you're interested in the accurate story pm me an I'll give it to you.

    Not sure....

who you are, but with all due respect, you are pretty shallow in your thinking if you lump all small town kids into the same mold.

Maybe you are just trying to stir the pot.:bsflag:

Forgot that Emily's school is 2A. She is a stud. My kid has joined her travel team, Denver Dazzle.

    D1

By the way, all of the kids listed from these "small" schools had offers to go
    D1.

    You got anything for that??:Reagan-hittin-head-
