True... but I think it has to be after a warning has already been given to the team.

Keeping this line of thought going:

A baserunner has to wait until the ball is legally caught to tag-up? TRUE or FALSE?

False... once the ball is touched the runner may advance.

    Correct!

We had this happen in a game this year. Umps saw one girl with jewelry on, had her remove it and gave the team and coach a warning. Couple innings later, same ump saw jewelry on another girl. Both the girl and the head coach were restricted to the dugout for the remainder of the game.

So here is another one that is related...

A player being restricted to the dugout is the same as being ejected. i.e. she is disqualified from the next game. True or False?

    Correct!

You are correct Runey. Restricted is much different than an ejection. If restricted, both the player and the coach can stay in the dugout and are NOT disqualified from the next game.

    HMMMMMMMMM !!

I have been coaching for over 12 years, and I've never heard of restriction to the dugout for not obeying the rules !! What is that like going to the naughty corner ?? Either you enforce the rules or you don't !No jewelry or ejection plain as that, even though it has always puzzled me that you can wear sunglasses on your face, and if you get hit in the face you could go blind , but you can't wear a rubber wrist band... Let's see going blind, versus hurting my wrist.......HMMMMMMMMM--Go Figure !!!

If it had happened early in the game it would have had a big impact on the outcome of the game. The player restricted was the catcher. It has made a big difference in players paying attention to their jewelry. That's enforcement without the paperwork.
