Hum. Is that why Chelsa is going to Lousiville DI. Cause she can not pitch against the big 4A teams!!

Lets forget about hs ball for a second, what about these no good 1a or 2a school players that play tb in the big arenas that still have the large stats ? I guess they must be playing all lower competition or something. I'm sure you will give us all an explanation. My dd has played with the blues and cardinals in some very large tb tourn. and has done quite well at keeping her stats up and you or no one else is going to tell me that this competition is week. Lay off the smaller programs and the girls that play for them, also tell me a 4a or 3a conference that is loaded with all great teams. The 4a or 3a schools have just as many week teams in a conference as 1a or 2a. What about when they play a weeker team in their conf, i guess that would lead to some large stats also..........

    Well Said!!!

Example: Allison Starnes little ol 2A school Mount Pleasant High School currently batting .705 and hit clean-up for the 18U NC ASA Champion Carolina Cobras in TB..... one of the best in NC period! I would put her against any pitcher any day!!! My daughter aint bad either :^)

MPHS has one of the best lineups in the area from 1-5. We have beat ALL of our 3A and 4A opponents this year (except a preseason scrimmage against the current #9 4A school Audrey Kell). Our only non-conference loss came to #2 Ledford with a GREAT pitcher on the mound in Kristin Murphy.

We do have a few weak schools in our conference but they too are getting better every year! We also face one of the best pitchers twice a year in the area from South Stanly Nikki Whitley and have West Stanly and Forest Hills which both have great TB players on their rosters.

All of this seems to be a moot point as no one has control over the size of their school, who their coach is, what level of play is expected or even whether their school has anyone who can even pitch.........

    Just my .02

I wish GURU!!! We are leaving the Rocky River Conference and will be moving into a new conference with all the other Cabarrus County Schools, which makes alot of sense financially BUT MPHS is getting NO additional students and we will be playing 3A.

    Conference will include:

    Mount Pleasant
    Hickory Ridge
    Concord
    Northwest Cabarrus
    Central Cabarrus

and a new school I believe.......

Love to have ya'll on our schedule. Lets get our coaches to talk!!

Oh and she had several D-1 schools wanting her badly! She has chosen to put her education first and I admire her decision!:trampoline:
