Dylan Thompson pitched 6 innings for the Patriots. Rob Stas had 4 hits for the 2nd night in a row for the Patriots. Brandon Crawford added his 3rd homerun of the season.

Southern is now 15-4 and 7-0.

Big week next week. Three home games vs South Granville, Oxford Webb and Burlington Williams.

We were up 6-4 til they decided to go all ballistic and crap in the bottom of the fifth. They added two more in the sixth to end the scoring. We know we can play with the top teams in the state, we've even beaten a few. Just can't seem to close things out in the second half of the season.

 

JV thru Varsity you guys can swing the stick without a doubt and Davenport looks like the real deal at SS. Wouldnt want to matchup with you guys in the playoffs. Good luck the rest of the way.
