Let me give an example of what I am trying to say. A 1A player up for an award today as a freshman had 69 hits in one season. Are you guys telling me that it would not matter if she were playing against 4A teams she would still have 69 hits. 69 hits broke a state record in all classifications (do ya think)! There are 3A/4A girls that are darn good that don't get much more than that for a career. There is no way 3A/4A players can compete with that even if their dad was the coach because for one thing they play teams that can field the ball.

It would depend on the 4a teams she played against. If it was in the meca or sw4a that would be tough but in the nw4a it would be easier and very possible. As many others have stated there are as many weak 4a and 3a teams as there are 1a and 2a. Probablly the best team in the state the last 2 years was a 2a team

The last example you used was the wrong kid. Are you sure on this one?

This fielding the ball thing you have makes no sense, unless the players are just standing still. Most base hits are not fieldable. It they were, then it should be an error.

Please folks stop referring to specific players and conferences. If you want to laud some players you know in the large conferences, please do that instead of putting others down. There are also several pretty good teams in the NW4A, and a lot of good players outside of the one team you guys are referring to, so no point in bashing them.

What's the difference in enrollment between the largest 2A school and the smallest 3A school? Some 3A schools are not that big, and different ones have traditions in different sports. There's probably a lot more transferring that goes on in the bigger cities as well. I'm not saying illegally, it just makes more sense logistically in a lot of cases.

    Reached

I think this post has provided about all it can to TBR, let's move on as no minds are going to be changed at this point nor are there any more points to really make that are factual to prove one way or other. I think we can agree there are quality players in every level and there are colleges for most that work hard and want to truly play at that level.

Don't know where your remarks come from but I was in no way bashing any girls especially our girls as I love them all. Only thing is I always try to post the truth without bias on here while still supporting my teams. Not putting anyone down as you stated

Again, you don't know if she could have 69 hits against the mighty 3A/4A teams. She could very well have 69 hits. You need to remember that you are talking about someones daughter here in all your examples of the 1A/2A girls failure to be successfull in 3A/4A.

Well, maybe I misunderstood your comparison about the 4A conferences, but what I'm saying is, your team is one of the ones that is pretty good, and could compete just fine against most any 4A team from any conference.
