Good game for Freedom tonight after a tough loss last night to Alexander Central. Ali Ford 2-4, Brooke Ellis 2-3,Megan Waters 2-3, April Dupuis 2-2, Brittany Roberts 2-3 just to name a few. Freedom had 11 hits on the night with the 12th run being walked in.

Extra Inning Thriller. Providence takes lead in the 3rd leaving bases loaded to end inning. AK comes back in the 5th and scores one on aggressive base running and timely hits. AK scores an unearned in the 6th on a tough PB. Providence applies pressure all game with base runners on every inning and finally gets timely hits in the 7th. L. Quant hits a single with two outs, VanderHill doubles, E. Quant singles and Quant scores. Runner for the catcher is thrown out at home on the play and we go to the 8th. AK three up and down. K. Sidway draws a walk with one out and AK brings in Jen Rosene. Casella grounds out to second base as only play is to first for the second out. Covert singles in 6/5 hole to win game as Sidway never put on the brakes and scores.

Both pitchers threw great. They both showed a lot of composure as both teams kept the pressure on. Fun and well played game on both sides. Great Atmosphere!!!!! If these teams can play like this come play off time they should go far.
