    Northwood defeated Graham tonight to set up tomorrow's contest with Orange as a "winner take all" game for the conference regular season championship!

    Words do not describe how cruel this game can be sometimes. Congrats to LN. Houser is a great one.

    This was a very good game - don't have the stats, but Kristin did it again, 2nd homer for the year left handed, this one went about 270, great defense behind her, there were some very good plays made to hold off the talented Mavericks.

    WP: Lindsey Russell

    Hopewell bats started strong with 10 runs in first inning. Everyone in lineup had at least one hit. Braman - 2 HR's (inside park), Russell - 3B, Spain 3B, Schelling 2B, Cooke 3B.

    Hopewell has now won 8 in a row.

    Hasson has had a great career.

    East Burke is definitely playing well under Coach Lingerfelt. You can see the effort paying off for Coach and the players!

    I would also like to give a shout out to Freedom Senior Catcher, Brittany Harrell, who handles pitchers as well as any catcher I know.

    Yep there are some good catchers and they do help alot but in order to have a catcher you also have to have a pitcher that can hit her spots, the catcher must frame the ball. The best catcher in their conf. is Lackey from S. Caldwell without a dought. Not taking anything way from anyone just my thoughts,

    I just wanted to add I have watched most of these girls grow as softball players through the years and B Harrell has become a great catcher and her bat has came to life too, I wish her the best along with the other players that have to say good bye to their High School careers, Girls its been great through the ups and downs, travel ball included. Just remember one thing as you travel on, be the best you can be and give it your all.
