    Northwood defeats Orange 4-1 on the strong pitching of Carrie Webster, excellent defense by Lauren Oldom and a two run homerun by Padgett Harrington.
    This puts Northwood in the driver's seat to repeat as the Mid State 2A Regular Season Champions!

    Liz had 11 Ks, batted couple singles and a triple
    Haley Pierson single, Kaile Hahn single & dbl, Kaitlyn McNalley single

    Mallory had good hits also as usual.

    Good game! What made this game special is that Coach Ricky B from MC was Liz's first softball coach along with Coach Greg H back in the 8U Indian Trail Rec days. Liz and Mallory were teammates. I thought it was nice that Liz played against her first coach and teammate in one of her last high school games. Ricky has always been supportive and we appreciate him!

    Mallory, keep us posted next year!
