    Hold on!

Many teams this year have a legit chance at the title, for a lot of ladies this chance dosen't come often, it will come down to the team with the least errors and the breaks, this season is diffentely up in the air. Several very good and well coached teams will be competing, the thing is, you know, the best team dosen't always win, also depends on the route you get to take through the bracket, so here's my picks!

    1A E Surry
    2A Ledford
    3A SW Randolph
    4A Alexander

But the team in 1A that will travel far in the bracket is N Moore, 2A Pisgah, 3A St. Stephens, and 4A N Davidson......all in which has a legit chance of being in Raleigh..........

in the 1A East Surry doesnt have the juggernaut they have had down there in the past several years but they have the most critical component.. that being a pitcher with great stuff who has already been there. Shelton was on the mound for them last year when they won it all. I think that alone makes them the favorites.

    4A - Scotland County ; New Bern ; Wake Forest-Rolesville
    3A - South Central ; Northern Nash

I have said from the beginning of the year that Apex is the sleeper....watched them play against Panther Creek...with all the errors, not sure how strong they can compete deeper into playoffs...still hope they go far....Thursday's game against Fuquay could tell a tale! But Good Luck to all the teams!!!

Don't count Cherryville out in the 1A, they're on a mission...lol. Emily Self throwing better than ever, and they all are putting in the hard work and practice it takes. I'm not their biggest fan (even though I married a Cherryville gal..ha), but they do look sharp this year.

    This Season

Its hard to tell.. A lot of teams are loaded

1A - North Moore - They have the pitcher and the pieces (hard to pick against E Surry but I think its N Moores year)
Sleeper - Cherryville.. This team is good

    2A - Pisgah - (19 - 0) nuff said
Sleeper(s) - Northwoods bats are getting hot and their pitching is good... Mount Pleasant (haven't seen them play but I have heard good things about them, also regardless of who they play those stats are IMPRESSIVE)

3A - DH Conley - (everyone is picking SWR so I'll go with a pissed off number one team that no one believes in. I'd make it bulletin board material too)
sleeper - Southern Alamance - this team can mash that tater

4A - North Davidson - saw them play in it last year and the only reason they didn't win it was CONSTANCE ORR. Shes not there this year and ND has almost all of those pieces back. (only seen Alexander Central once, against SWR - lets just say they wouldn't surprise me at all if they won it)
sleeper(s) - Garner - probably the most overlooked team in the East. They hit, they run, and Wright is a great pitcher. - Apex - those girls are almost surgical with those bats

3A- Washington could squeak into Raleigh. Already beat DH Conley. If they can get their pitcher a couple of runs, it could happen.:20:

    4A Person & 2A Northwood

4A Person Very good team that can play with anyone!!!
Pitcher Britney Shotwell and Catcher Erica Reaves are Seniors and have a great supporting cast. Coach Mike Shotwell has a very disciplined hitting team.

2A Northwood Very good team that will could win it all. Pitching- Carrie Webster & Lauren Martin, Power- Padgett Harrington, Speed-Lauren Oldham and 3B is very good. Solid team up and down the lineup with experienced coaching staff.
