    Good Game down to the last second

    Tense game especially with the tornado warning!

    Both pitchers did very well, Kurtz allowed one hit with 11 ks, Thomas allowed two hits with 10ks
    Good defense.

    Score was 0-0 thru the 6th inning. MR scored the two runs in the 7th.
    SV tried but did not score. Great effort by both teams!

    Megan is a great kid and there is no dought she will do well at LR. I have enjoyed watching her pitch, she is looks like it takes no effort to throw as hard as she does. Great family, I know mom and dad are proud.

    Harnett Central clinches at least a share of Cape Fear Valley regular season championship with the win.
    Mary Katherine Pegram(WP) threw a no hitter with 8 K's, 6 bb's, and 1 hbp.
    Andie Everette took the loss with 5 K's, 2 hits, ?? bb's.
    Great defense was the differance in the game.

    HC closes the season against Triton on Friday night.

    megan laxton and her mom and dad have put in alot of hard work and yrs to get her to this point. i have watched her throw a ton of balls to her long time pitching coach mickey bolick! congrats to the laxton family!!

    Wp Cogdell despite striking out 10 was upset with herself stating" I walked 1 and hit 2 today. That is unacceptable"
