How would you score this one?

For all you scorekeeper officianados:
Runner on second with no outs.
Ball is pitched high and inside, batter ducks to aviod being hit in the head. Ball hits bat and rolls <10 feet towards third. Batter realizes its in fair territory and takes off for first. Third baseman makes the play at first but runner advances to third as soon as the ball is thrown.
Can I give her a sac bunt or simply a put out?
Btw runner scored on next play.

 

FC (no intent to SAC here) with the admonition to always keep your eye on the ball. Sounds like she should have beaten that one out.

 

Is it always a FC or only because R1 advanced to 3rd?

 

Why FC?

Why a FC? Shouldn't it just be a put out? I thought FC was only if a play was attempted on another runner, not the batter. If the play is on the batter and the out is made, shouldn't it just be a put out? No SAC under the circumstances you stated. Lucky to have at least advanced the runner into scoring position.

Rule book says: Put out
It only looked like a bunt, there was no intent. Except maybe intending to keep from getting her bell rung.
