    Could not believe there were two stories in today's Observer on the West Meck/Catholic game and not a one on the SW4A tournament. The AK/EM game was something to write about. What a great baseball game! Wood hits the 2-run HR after Pasaut bout takes off EM pitcher Little's head. Little protects himself by throwing up his pitching hand but injures his hand. He finished the inning and ended the 5th with a great play at home but eventually had to come out of the game due to the injury. EM came within a hit of tying it up but Pasaut made a great play on David Daniel's shot to RF. If only the young Eagles could hit the ball. With their pitching and defense playing well, they would be dangerous.

    Cliff did a roundup on the SW4A that he added to the bottom of the Queen City title game between Catholic and West. He had info for the first three games and asked for help here on the fourth game and no one responded until nearly midnight when Cosmo posted and that was just a score and a particial info on pitchers and a HR from Lee.

    From this point I am not sure what happened during copy edit, which Cliff does not do, if the story was cut for space or for lack of info to complete the roundup on the tournament. I am sure the story would have been edited and sent to press by the time Cosmo's info was available.

    Obviously Cliff planned to have something in today's paper or he would not have asked for help.
