    I say go for it.
    The NC coaches in TB and HS already know who the top 20 in the state are.
    Narrowing down to 12 from 20 will be where it gets tough.

    Take around 20. Let the girls get the exposure! You would want to do well but you also want to "showcase" as much talent as possible. Instead of riding the arms of just a couple of pitchers, let 4 or 5 get exposure. Also let 3 or 4 catchers do the same.

    If I was putting this together, this is what I'd want my roster to look like and they would all get their innings/at bats...

    5 pitchers
    4 catchers
    5 outfielders
    3 mid infielders
    3 corners

    I would NOT take any girls that have graduated from high school. This is a prime time to showcase the North Carolina talent that is available to be recruited to play college ball at the highest levels.

    After playing gold ball last summer, I would take the best 14 girls and get after it. This is not time to showcase but to win. I say do it Rodney. Sign me up.

    You can only take 12 to this particular event. I will ask some questions and see how real this can be.
