Rocky Mount 13 Northern Nash 1

    WP: Nick Hahula
    LP: David Wittman

    Hitting:
RM: Brian Goodwin (3-4, 3 runs, Rbi)
    RM: Michael Whitehead (1-4, 2 Rbi's)
    RM: Collins Cuthrell (3-4, 2 runs, 4 Rbi's, & home run)
    RM: Ben Fish (2-4, Rbi)
RM: Thomas Berry (3-3, 2 runs)
    RM: Dillon Cockrell (1-3, 2 runs, 3 Rbi's, & home run)
    RM: Hobbs Johnson (1-3, Rbi)
    RM: Carter Varnell (1-3)
NN: Tyler Joyner (1-2, w/ home run)
    NN: Wesley Joyner (1-2)
    NN: Tyler Clark (1-3)
    NN: Mike Smith (1-2)

Rocky Mount sends 13 batters to the plate in the top of the 4th, drilling 9 hits & scoring 10 runs to take the excitement out of this tiebreaker game. The big blows:
A two Rbi double by Michael Whitehead.
A three run homer by Collins Cuthrell. &
A three run homer by Dillon Cockrell. Game Over!

Nick Hahula did a good job for the Gryphons, scattering 3 hits over the first three innings. Benton Moss shut out the Knights the final two innings as the game was shortened due to the 10 run rule.

Well, I have seen both teams play, in this case, the better team won.

Walker Gourley hit a 3-run homer in the bottom of the sixth. Both teams used alot of pitchers in the game due to the playoffs starting Friday. John Wooten got the win.
