State Games rosters?

    In Region 5 I saw lots of kids that stood out. Tons of talent. When I watched I was truly amazed at how many good players were there. That's why I say there is no shame in not making the team. I enjoyed just watching.

    Compared to softball...

    I just looked at the North Carolina Softball Coaches Association website and they had the State Games rosters posted for two of the regions, 5 and 7.

    Considering the above quote, baseball is way ahead of softball in this selection process. In region 5 the team has five players from one school. In region 7, one school has SEVEN players on the team! Basically their starting roster and I would bet the 8th and 9th players from that school will show up on the seniors east/west roster.

    There used to be a list of the region coaches but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'd like to see it again. It may shed some light on some of these selections... maybe that's why I can't find it!
