this is my outlook for the Mecklenburg-Iredell conference. i know ill take a lot of heat for who i will be putting at number 1.

    so here we go:

    1) Mallard Creek (8-3, 6-0)- i really like this team this year. they started 10-0 last year...with all that talent, and adding extra motivation to a team loaded with talent...look out!!

    2) West Charlotte (8-3, 5-1)- i put them at number 2 simply because they have a new coach. 8-3 i think is reasonable, they have a wicked tough OOC schedule...with east meck, indy, and butler, they may end up like 7-4...but i have them beating east meck.

3)Vance (7-4, 4-2)- havent seen a FULL schedule, so this record could be better, but i just think west charlotte, and mallard creek are better (based on last season)

    4) Lake Norman (7-4, 3-3)- this one may surprise some people, but Lake norman is returning most, if not all starters from last year...and they were really solid! i would say, a relatively soft OOC schedule, with games vs Person, @ South Iredell, @ statesville (which i think they loose this one), vs West Iredell, @ North Iredell.

    5) Hopewell (6-5, 3-3)- not 2 sure what hopewell has this season, this could be very well a 7-4 team as well, but i have them in a couple toss up games vs providence and @ Myers Park (winning the MP game, loosing the Prov game)

    6) Mooresville ( 4-7, 2-4)- rebuilding year. graduated some 35 seniors, all 11 starters on offense from what i have been told, new coach. 4 wins may even be a stretch, i havent seen a full OOC schedule, but from what i have seen, its not an easy one. Open up at NWC, i think a home game with West Rowan, home game with Hibriten, and i think a game with Alexander Central (not sure about the Alex. one)...could be tough. North Meck and Mooresville could very well flip flop.

    7) North Meck (4-7, 2-4)- i think could be 5-6 or 6-5 depending on how a couple toss up games go (which i have them losing as of now).

thats just my best guess at what the standings COULD look like nest year. im probably far off not knowing a whole lot about the new teams we will be seeing, feel free to debate my predicitions lol
