    Northside Christian defeats High Point 7 - 0
    Winning Pitcher: Nicole Stovall

    Metrolina Christian defeats Arendell Parrott 4 - 1
    Winning Pitcher: Mallory Broome

    Gaston Christian defeats Halifax Academy 11 - 6
    Winning Pitcher: Caitlin Campbell

    Also from the MAC

    In the private school 3A ranks, Hickory Grove advances to the 3A final four with a 12-1 win over Cary Academy. Winning pitcher was Chelsea Macaluso.

    MAC teams are doing well, 3 out of 4 in the 2A final four, and 1 of 4 in the 3A. Charlotte area overall fares pretty well, with Providence Day and Charlotte Latin also in the 3A final four. That makes 6 out of 8 Charlotte-area teams between the two classifications!
