    Huh?

15 girls across a week (5 days). No time to call 3 girls a night for 2 minutes (or even 5)? I am busy too but think I could fit that into my schedule...

Baby sitting? Who said anything about that??? I just thought the coaches would want to hear the excitement in the girls voice when they are told they made the team. Maybe I am just old fashioned and think there is nothing better than the feeling you get knowing you just made a girls day/week! I know it would send me off to bed even after a long day with a big ol' smile on my face!

Congrats to all of the girls! I am sure they are all very excited to make the teams!

Any idea when the other regions will have their rosters posted?

    Soon!

I know for sure that some other Regions have turned in their rosters. The State Games powers that be are out of the office until Wednesday. Maybe some of the other Regions will be posted either am or pm on Wednesday.

    Well !!

Maybe the babysitting remark was little strong, but these coaches are having enough trouble just trying to find the time to get their teams ready for the playoffs, and I really think that these girls are okay with an email in lieu of a call !! Hey my DD was so happy:Woot_Emoticon: just to make the team !!

    Agree

I am sure all of the girls are happy no matter how they are informed. I am also sure your DD was very happy and excited when she got the email. I was just thinking from a coaches point of view, I would LOVE to hear that excitement when she found out. That would let me know for sure I made a good choice!

Congrats to your DD and all of the others!

    Roster Update

More of the Rosters have been posted on the State Games website at www.ncsports.org, including the East and West Senior All-Star teams. More will be coming soon. Rosters can also be found at the Coaches Association website at www.ncfastpitch.org.

Interesting? Why ye say that? Is it because this team is comprised of 7 players from Alexander Central, plus a few outsiders? We were told at our tryouts that no more than 2 players would be picked from any one high school, in order that as many schools in the region would have representation. We had a girl more than qualified to be on this team, but lost out because two of her teammates from same high school were ranked higher by the coaches. I guess the rules aren't the same for all of the Regions.

I believe limiting the number of girls selected from each school is actually a nice idea.

Any thoughts from other TBR'ers out there?
