    Selected team members were going to be called by the end of last week. Nothing posted yet and seems that Capn Slappy was just called today. Could you let everyone know what is going on. Tryouts ended on May 2nd (11 days ago.)

    Actually my daughter received an email this morning from Coach Collins. She attended both sessions of the tryouts at West Johnston High School.

    Anyone know about Region 6? My DD did not end up trying out due to work and family issues (sister-in-law in bad accident-finally on the mend)
    Would like to congratulate our Region 6 girls though!

    I know not one of them tried out, I don't know if they did not know about it or not, but I know that there were a couple on a tournament team that were already commited to something the week of the state games. They would have been in region 6, but trust me region 6 will be well represented, they had 43 girls to chose from and from what I saw I would not wanted to be the one chosing the 15 to play, there was some awesome talent out there!!

    MP in Region 6

    My daughter tried out and made the Region 6 team last year and had a great experience (except for the rain on Sunday) but unfortunately d/t scheduling conflicts (prom was on one of the dates) could not make the try-outs.
    As for the other girls not sure why they didn't try out other than a few are still young. The others are former TB players that have no interest in playing at the next level.
