    agree Braves, sometimes this becomes a full time job in itself, but its worth the benefits of being on a forum that lacks drama, teaches the game and promotes the girls for that 15 minutes of fame so to speak.

    So, i ask that eveyone take a second and reflect on the statements they are about to make and how it will affect any other member on this board. kinda hard to do that after you hit the enter key. remember, we're here to discuss, not argue, take that to rant n rave.

    Bothsportsdad I strongly agree. Enough already.....I typed a post for this last night and thought no there may be a chance of him being sincere. Nope....not happening. As has been mentioned numerous times on this board, kids check this out also. I promise kids see through the sarcasm and the negativity quicker than adults. With each post there is the hidden belittlement of the success of these young ladies. Everybody has an opinion and has the right to express it, but don't make it demeaning to the kids.

    The first post that caught my attention from NB was personal and inaccuarate so I may be a bit jaded regarding the other post.....but in my very humble opinion there are no positive intentions for kids in these posts.

    region 8 tryouts conclude this sunday at 2pm. looked like 30+ kids came out last sunday. most overheard comment was, "...$10.00 well spent. they dont get this much quality practice at school."

    I understand. From the pm's I've received of people agreeing with me in private but don't want to do it publicly I understand what is going on BUT a final thought on the subject. Those that think they are protecting the girls are not giving them much credit because they are pretty smart and they KNOW.

    Exactly on both parts.

    People discuss privately about many things--that's why we have them.

    The girls are very smart. They don't need us to tell them the obvious. Nor do we need someone to run home after hearing some gossip, so they can start a thread about it (not insinuating you have done that.)

    I've never found attacking, spreading rumors, unfounded truths or jealousy to be informative and have actually witness it to hurt others.

    Here's is another truth: No matter what someone states; it could be the worst character assassination or indictment on anybody, place or thing. There will be somebody that will agree with you and cheer you for your opinion.
