    college camps

I would highly suggest going to the websites of the schools that he is interested in attending. Make sure they are also schools that you both feel are a good match for his abilities. Get to the athletic sections and look for a link to camps. They will have the dates and the costs listed.

My son attended about 8 different camps at schools he was interested in attending. He did end up signing as a direct result of one of those camps.

Be careful not to send him to dozens of camps. Be specific in your choices or you will spend a ton of money.

Son never attended, but I've also never heard any negatives about it.

Area IV will have their 1st annual showcase/all star event this year, it will allow rising seniors(2010 players) to participate in a pro style tryout in front of college coaches & pro scouts. I don't know the date; however, your legion coach does know or will know the details in the days ahead. Area III will have their 3rd showcase\all star event this year. The Area IV should be the same format as the one started by Area III. The Denver Legion coach is organizing the event if you have prelim questions. Don't quote me but I think it is the last Saturday in June for Area IV. Area III's will be July 1st at McCrary Park in Asheboro.
