    I'm waiting on the same thing OurPasttime713, but I can't find anything on the Catholic game. I'm hearing that Glenn beat Mooresville 7-1, but none of us get any points there (we all picked Mooresville). :46:

    One comment about the NPC, this league has truly been impressive the last 2 years, last year they beat everyone else, nearly all their playoff losses last year was to each other,,, then they had a pretty even conference race with dogfights every night this year, really the only team that ran away from the pack was Lake Norman,,,,,, yet this conference stumbled to a disappointing 2-4 record in 1st round games. And truthfully one of the wins (East Rowan) probably involved a horseshoe,,, because they trailed by 2, bottom of 7th, with 2 outs.

    Despite all that, and even tho Karlrocket put the kiss of death on them,,,,,, with Ragsdale losing, the west is now Lake Norman's to lose. All these teams have that one good pitcher, but LN has THREE who would be aces on other teams, one who is possibly the best in the west and he didn't even throw in the 1st round, also LN has the hitting to go with this pitching. I'll pick LN to go all the way and face Rocky Mount in the finals.

    Latest on North Gaston/Charlotte Catholic

    North Gaston was leading Charlotte Catholic 6-4 in 2nd inning Saturday when rains came and washed out game for 2nd straight day. Game will pick up where they left off in 2nd inning this Monday at 4:30pm at Olympic HS (apparently CC has no home field). This means winner will have to play 2 days in row, since 2nd round begins Tuesday.

    I'll go ahead and make my 2nd round picks:

    Coach27, not a bad limb. I hate to pick against Foard again, but I am leaning towards the Cath/NG winner myself because whoever it is, is going to come in Tuesday with fresh momentum just after advancing on Monday. I know ftftigers is going to give me a hard time if I pick against Foard again,,, and lose again.:mellow:

    I thought about taking Glenn, but I guess I'm pulling for Marvin Ridge because I've heard so much about them, and honestly I'd like to see them face Lake Norman in 3rd round. From some of the things I've heard, MR could be Lake Norman's biggest hurdle in taking the west.
